When I try to change files location, the system reports an error "An error occurred during saving the Global Settings. Please try again." How can I fix it and change files location? Thank you! Rostyslav

Please check if you have in your current sites directory only directories and no files.

Some current sites has an empty directories: "output" and "preview".
I have checked it deeper and in my opinion it must be a some internal error while copying the site files as other cases are checked by our code. Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce that issue on my environment
I installed the Publii on other Mac and I can change the file location when I did not create a site before. Perhaps after the website was created, it is impossible to change the location of the files. Is it true?
On my mac I can move folder with websites in it. It takes some time (due amount of files) but it definitely works.
Where did you tried to move your websites? We have one other similar report, but still - I am unable to reproduce this problem on macOS Mojave.
On my windows machine site directory have to be empty. Then I can change the file location.
Copy sites directory to a new place (dira). Point file location to where you want to store sites(dib).
Create a test site. Close Publii.
Copy sites to new file location(copy dira to dirb).
Reopen publii and you should see all your site from the old location.
